PROPHET stand for (Probabilistic Routing Protocol using History of Encounters and Transitivity) is as routing algorithm for Delay Tolerant Network. It's an improvement of Epidemic.

It uses history of nodes encounters to take intelligent decisions for the message to reach the destination.
